In summation: market value for family homes typically increases for areas that are located within 1-2 blocks of well-serviced and cost-effective transportation such as buses and LRT with the exception of those homes situated right on bus routes (i.e. with transit signs on their property) and / or have direct exposure to bus noise and commuter disturbance. Note that many muncipalities will change bus stops and routes every few years so their property value impacts are subject to change.
